A home health aide is a skilled, certified nursing assistant who provides a variety of care in a patient’s home.
Our home health aides must be credentialed and trained before they receive a care assignment. Our employee screening process also includes a criminal background check. Once hired, they receive additional specialized training.
A home health aide must follow a plan of care written and reviewed by the professional nurse or therapist. Care is supervised every 14 days whether the patient is present or not.
